Maglev, local sake and Takeda history tour A

At the Maglev exhibition center, you will watch test runs of superconductive maglev trains, a next-generation bullet train. The outlines of the maglev system and Linear Chuo Shinkansen are presented with models and various exhibits.
You will then go around temples such as Keitokuin and Erinji in Koshu City. At Sasaichi brewery and Budonooka winery, you will enjoy local sake as well as Koshu wine.

Maglev exhibition center

It is a place where you can see maglev trains running on the Yamanashi maglev test tracks and learn about the outlines of superconductive maglev and the Chuo Shinkansen from various models and displayed items in order to be familiar with superconductive maglev train that is supposed to be the next-generation high-speed train.

Hoshino family’s house

Hoshinoya is an old distinguished family that owned Hanasaki-shuku located next to Otsuki-shuku on the Koshu-kaido to the west. The house was the headquarter of the Shimohanasaki-shuku and, reportedly.

Sasaichi sake brewery

Founded in 1919, it is one of the most famous breweries in Yamanashi prefecture. In addition to sake, their wine has an established reputation as well.

Keitokuin

Keitokuin is a temple in Kofu-city, Yamanashi prefecture. It is a temple of Sotoshu and has an honorific mountain name, “Tendozan”. It uses Shaka Nyorai as the principle image of worship.

Budo no Oka

There are 200 labels of wine offered in the wine cave that is located in the basement of the Budo no Oka (vineyard). With a purchase of a tastevin, you can try any type of wine in the cave.

Erinji

Erinji is a temple in Kofu-city, Yamanashi prefecture. In 1330, the famous temple Jirin Temple, established by Yumeiko Kuniji, is known as Shingen's Bodhi Temple. The nationally designated scenic garden is counted as the masterpiece of the dream window Kokushi in the Ikeizumi Musical Garden.
